According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), nearly 12 children between the ages of 4 and 19 are injured every minute. According to OSHA, 6000 people die from workplace injuries every year. Are you prepared to respond with confidence in lifesaving CPR. It can mean the difference between life and death.
First Aid
Participants learn first aid skills for treating a variety of injuries, such as burns, wounds, head, neck, and back injuries, and heat and cold related emergencies. Participants are also taught how to manage sudden illnesses, stroke, seizures, bites, and poisoning.
CPR
Participants learn how to perform CPR and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies. Training to perform CPR on adults and training on childs and infants are provided in two different classes.
Automated External Defibrillation (AED)
AED training is available as an add-on to both adult and infant CPR training. Participants learn how to use an AED on adult victims of cardiac arrest or child victims between the ages of 1 and 8.
